Cleaning Instructions
ColorStar Impressions mats may be maintained using any of the following methods:
- Vacuum regularly (daily for high traffic, weekly for low traffic)
- Use a carpet extractor for deeper cleaning
- Hose off to remove heavy soil
- Hang to dry completely before placing back in service
Commercial Laundering (Nitrile-Backed Mats Only)
- Flush: 2–3 minutes at 120°F
- Optional Second Flush: 2–3 minutes
- Break: 5–10 minutes, high water level at 120°F
- Rinse: 2 minutes cold
- Second Rinse: 2 minutes cold
- Low-Speed Extraction: 1–2 minutes
- Shake Out: 1 minute
- High-Speed Extraction: 3–5 minutes (max 250 Gs)
- Dry: 5–10 minutes at 180°F
- Cool Down: 5 minutes
- Lay flat after laundering; allow cooling before rolling
For heavily soiled mats:
- Increase temperature up to 140°F
- Use low-pH, non-ionic detergents
- Avoid over-drying
